Welcome to this month’s edition of my empties. I’ve got 13 products to chat about, so grab a cuppa and enjoy the read. For anything that’s popped up before, I’ll keep it short and sweet!

Clarins Total Eye Lift

I got this mini in my latest Advent Calendar and started using it the same day. It lasted me almost two months, which was great! I really loved how it felt on my skin. It goes on so smoothly under the eyes and feels really nice and gentle. I’ll definitely be purchasing the full size.

La Roche Posay Pure Vitamin C12 Serum

This is my second bottle of this. Such a gorgeous serum, it has that lovely oil texture but somehow never feels greasy on the skin. It always felt super fresh, and I genuinely enjoyed massaging it into my face each time I used it.

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright

I used this about 2 or 3 years ago and I remember thinking it was such a fabulous moisturiser! It feels so lovely and hydrating on the skin. I also love that it contains vitamin C, such a great ingredient for helping to brighten your complexion. I’d definitely buy this again.

Charlotte Tilbury Invisible Flawless Poreless Primer

My friend bought this for my birthday last year, and I’ve loved it ever since. It works as both a primer and an SPF, which is amazing, you get protection and a gorgeous, glowy base for your makeup. I’d absolutely buy it again. It’s a fantastic product.

Care-Nel Berry Lip Night Mask

My friend bought this for me a couple of years ago,maybe even three! I take ages to get through products because I like to finish them before sharing my thoughts. I really enjoyed this one. It’s definitely a dupe for the Laneige Lip Mask, and I’m using the Laneige one now that this is finished. They perform almost exactly the same. I’d happily buy it again. I think my friend got it on Amazon, but I’m not totally sure.

Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Full Coverage Liquid Foundation in 220N Custard

When I first tried this, I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with it. I really wanted to love it, but I just didn’t at the start. I put it aside for a while, came back to it later, and for some reason I ended up loving it. It gives the skin a gorgeous finish,not flat matte, but a lovely satin look. I’m not sure if it’s being discontinued, so I can’t say for sure if I’d repurchase, just in case.

Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer Satin Finish in Medium Peach

I picked this up after hearing great reviews. I’d already tried the other Camo concealer and loved it, so I wanted to give this one a go. I ended up really liking it! I found myself reaching for it most weekends, even over some of my high‑end products. I’ve actually already bought another one in a different shade

Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream

I originally bought this after I had shingles last year. Yes, shingles… and no, I’m not 100 lol. My skin felt really tight and sore, and my local pharmacy recommended this to help. I used it for about 2-3 months while my skin was recovering, and I also reached for it during winter when my skin got extra dry. It’s such a lovely moisturiser for those really dry days or nights, super comforting and soothing. I’ll 100% be buying this again!

Mrs Glam 10 Second Tan in Dark +

Another quick one — this is my go‑to tan! It gives such a beautiful golden colour, lasts around five days, and the best part… it doesn’t stain the bed sheets. That’s a total win in my book!

Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion

I have mentioned this in so many empties. I use this for cleansing my eyes as it is gentle. I leave it on my eye for a couple seconds and then I cleanse. I normally pick this up in one of the multiples (Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Tesco) when they are running an offer on it.

CeraVe Micellar Cleansing Water

I picked this as I think it was coming up advertised on my Insta. I use a micellar water as my 3rd and final cleanse to ensure every drop of makeup is off my face. This did the trick without drying out my face or breaking me out so I purchased another one as it was on offer in Boots when I was in shopping recently. Plus it is 295ml which lasts a couple of months.

Mario Badescu Caffeine Eye Cream

I got this in a Cohorted box. I found this was nice but I personally didn’t find this overly hydrating. I probably won’t repurchase for that reason but I did find it helped with any darkness.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

I got this in my advent calendar and it is a lovely moisturiser. This has squalane in it which I am a big fan of as it is great for keeping the face hydrated, soft and smooth at the same time. I would 100% buy this again

Nars Soft Matte foundation in Stromboli and Deuville

I have spoken about this so many times. The coverage is unreal. It is a matte foundation but it doesn’t dry matte or go cakey. It is all the things I look for it in a foundation. It is definitely my favourite foundation and my go to especially for an occasion or night out.

Dolce & Gabbana Concealer Longwear Millennialskin in Neutral 3

I really liked this concealer. I bought this a really long time ago on sale on Feelunique but never got around to trying it until 6 months ago as I had so many to try. I found this had really good coverage and didn’t crease. It wore well under all of my powders. I would have bought this again but I think it was reduced as it was discontinued.   

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder in Pound Cake

I will keep this short as this is a repeat purchase. From the minute I tried this I loved it. This sets the face but doesn’t leave it looking dry, dehydrated or cakey looking. It actually gives an airbrush effect to the skin. Always a repurchase.

Fenty Beauty Hella Thic Mascara 

I think this is my third tube of this.  This gives you length but also so much volume to your lashes. One application will actually do both eyes and give the length and volume needed. Two for major volume and length. I love this mascara and it is a major recommendation from me. Run and buy it…

Collection Fast Stroke Crystals Eyeliner in Funk

So this is the glitter that I used when creating a fast eye look with a lil sparkle. It is actually all I seem to do these days, lol. It is a lovely gold colour, it lasts all day and night and gives you a beautiful sparkle. I took myself over to Liffey Valley recently and picked up another one. I had been looking for a while as they didn’t have it in other Boots so it was a panic moment.

Essence 8hr Matte Comfort Lipliner in Cushion Talk x 2

How many times have I spoken about this lipliner. Costs about €2.80 and is super pigmented, lasts all day and always a repurchase.

This is a continuation of the new section I introduced a while ago. So this should be an empty product but it’s a #notsoemptyempties as it is something I have tried, tried again and re-tried and maybe not like so much or it doesn’t work for me.

Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-Eyes

Oh I am so sad to say this but this mascara just didn’t work for me. If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I love big thick fluttery lashes but this didn’t give that to me. This was super natural looking and even after 4 layers, I just didn’t get the volume so this is a no for me. But if you like natural lash, go for it.

Neutrogena Clear & Radiant Face Wash

I will keep this short as this is nearly always in my monthly empties. I’ve been using this for 10 years. This is nearly always my first cleanse. If I am going through a breakout I will use this as first and second cleanse. This is always in my skincare press

La Roche Posay Anthelios UNMune 400

Another product that I have used before. It is a brilliant spf. It also helps give moisture to your skin, it doesn’t come through your makeup which is something that I have been conscious of. I do prefer the mattifying spf but if you are on the drier side, this is one for you.

Catrice Under Eye Brightener

I bought this on @jennybeattie recommendation a while ago saying that this was a dupe for #nars Light Reflecting Eye Brightener. I did find that this was very similar to the eye brightener. I found it gave my dark circles the brightness needed. I will definitely try this again. I am currently testing the liquid version of this. 

Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre in 30

I used to use this powder years ago in 25 peche. I am talking 15 years ago but the brand discontinued that shade. I asked my sister for a new powder for Christmas 2 years ago and she bought this for me. I found that the powder was slightly drying on my undereyes and cheeks (most likely because my skin has changed over the years) but I found that this was great for the forehead and when I used this, my oils didn’t come through and show my frown line. I would repurchase this.

Hourglass Lightening Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light

I love this bronzer. I know it is expensive but it lasts for such a long time. I purchased this in January in the mini as I had a voucher. This gives a beautiful bronzed look to the skin and it lasts all day long. 

Catrice Plumping Lip Liner in I Like To Mauve It

Another one I will keep should as this one will always appear in my empties as it is one that I always have on the go. It is super pigmented and lasts all day and for the bargain price of €4.00. I love this colour aswell.

MUA Intense Lip Liner in Super Nude

This was a lovely supersoft lip liner. I will be honest, I love a nude lip liner / stick but this was a lil too nude for me but I used this with a darker liner to mix the two and when I did it made a lovely 90s lip for all you 90s lip girls. I don’t know if I would purchase this colour again but I would buy a different colour.

Soap & Glory Hand Food

My friend gave me this and I kept it in the car. I really liked this as I found it moisturising but not greasy. I absolutely hate greasy hand creams. This also kept my hands hydrated. Will definitely buy this again.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical

Ah Batiste, what a dry shampoo. I always pick one up when I am in Penneys.It is as cheap as chips and does what it says on the tin. Definitely one I will always keep on the go but always forget to post when I am binning.

Replica Perfume, Maison Margiela in When The Rain Stops

I got this in my Advent Calendar last year. This is the first one that I have proudly used up. I really liked this. It is a lovely flowery smell. Definitely one I will buy again,

Estee Lauder Youth Power Eye Balm

My friend got me this for Christmas 2 years ago. I thought that this was a lovely eye balm and my eyes felt hydrated and subtle after using this and I normally don’t like balms as I find them oily but I liked this and would repurchase again. 

Filorga Time Filler

I discovered this brand as some products had kindly been gifted to me. I bought this myself. I think this is a beautiful brand. I have loved all of the products. This moisturiser is fabulous. I always feel like I am giving myself a facial when applying this and it is a definite repurchase.

Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial

I originally discovered this as my sister got me a set of Drunk Elephant minis to try and I loved this. This is my second bottle of this. It lasts ages. It is also like a drink of water for your skin. Definite repurchase. 

Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics

I got this for my birthday and I thought that this was lovely. It acted like a primer on the face aswell which killed 2 birds with 1 stone. I would buy this again. i liked this so much I bought it for my friend for her birthday aswell.

Hourglass Ambient Iridescent Strobe Light

Another great product. I love adding a little bit of light per-say to face. I add this to my forward and it my concealer is very matte, I also add it to my under eyes just to add back some light back to the face. This is expensive but it lasts for such a long time.

L’Oreal Infallible Matte Resistance in 100 Fairytale

So I had been and still holding onto an Ofra liquid lipstick that I love but they don’t sell it over this side of the pond so I popped into Boots one date and like the look of this. It is a pale pink with I am not sure if it is a peach undertone but I love. Lasts all day long without drying out my lips. I already bought another one so safe to say I would repurchase.

Sun Shimmer Instant Tan Shimmer in Light

Good old Rimmel Sun Shimmer. It is a great product and it does exactly what it says on the tin. It gives you a tan with a glow (you can also get a matte version) and it washes off. Definitely one I keep in the drawer or when I have to tan my feet.

Larry King Social Life Shampoo

I got this and the conditioner in a Cohorted box. I did like this product, I thought it made my hair feel clean but I hate the packaging. 

Larry King Liquid Hairbrush

I got this and the shampoo in a Cohorted box. I did like this product, I thought it made my hair feel nice and silky but I hate the packaging.

Eve Lom Cream Cleanser

This was a lovely cleanser. It is a balm cleanser to takes off all makeup but unfortunately I will not purchase again due to the smell. If smell doesn’t bother you, this is a good cleanser.

Sculpted by Aimee HydraGlo

This is the second serum. It is a beautiful hydrating serum, my face felt so subtle after use so I would definitely but again.

Zelens Hyaluron Intense

I really enjoyed this oil, it wasn;t greasy and I felt like my face was hydrated for the night and into the morning as I used this at night time, I would repurchase this

.

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage in Light Beige

I have purchased this a few times. I bought this as a mixer foundation (change colour of foundation) and also for days I have no tan on. The coverage is amazing, it is full coverage and it gave a flawless finish to the skin. Definitely repurchase.

Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Cameo

My second blog post was about one of the Ben Nye powders and I have to say I still lovely this powder. I picked one with a colour for a change and I knew which colour to choose as I had used this colour previously. These are difficult to get but definitely worth for a good setting powder. Keeps your oils at bay for the day.

17 Lip Liner in Dusty Pink

I have spoken about this so many times and you are probably sick of listening to me harp on about this.. I love the liner, colour and texture. It is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day. Definite repurchase.

Mrs Glam 10 Second Tan in Dark +

Another quick one. This is my only tan. Beautiful golden shade. Lasts for up to about 5 days and doesn’t stain bed sheets which is always a win win.

Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector

A few years ago, I went to get my hair done and I was told that my hair was badly damaged and to use this to help it get back into condition. So I normally wet my hair and lash a good bit of this into my hair and then I leave it overnight. When I wash it the next day, my hair feels fab and is greatly conditioned. Eventhough I get Olaplex with my colour, I still do this a week or 2 later on.

Bybi Eye Plump

I got this in a Cohorted box and I liked this eyecream, there was Bakuchiol in this which works really well with my skin. I found that this was great for keeping my eyes hydrated so I will purchase this again. I have a couple of eyecreams to get through first.

Sunday Riley Auto Correct

I got this in my Advent Calendar last year I have used this before and found this to be a really good eyecream. This was also another hydrating eyecream with different ingredients but worked well on any darkness that I had. You ask why 2 empty eyecreams in 1 month. Well I used this in the morning and the other in the evening.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream

I also got this in my Advent Calendar and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found this was really hydrating and a little goes a long way. Now peeps must remember that I have combination skin. 

Byoma Moisturizing Gel-Cream

I received this in my advent calendar for Christmas a few years ago. I repurchased this as oh my god it is beautiful. It’s a gel formula so it is a velvet texture when applying and also is really lightweight on the face. Super hydrating and it didn’t break me out. Definitely a repurchase.

Eucerin Dry Touch Sun Gel-Cream

So I tried another Eucerin spf of my sisters a long time ago and thought it was nice but it was a hydrating one so I decided to try this one as it is a mattifying one. I have to say I really liked this. It was mattifying on the skin and didn’t show through my makeup.

Laura Mercier Hydrating Pure Canvas Primer

I got this in my Advent Calendar 2 years ago and purchased it again. It does what is said on the tin and hydrates the skin and also gives a healthy hydrated look to the skin. I would definitely repurchase this.

17 Lip Liner in Dusty Pink

Again, how many times have I spoken about this lipliner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day (I have applied only the liner at times). Definite repurchase. Also only €3.50 in Boots.

BPerfect Bronze Boost

Love this as an instant tan for the legs. So background is  that I do not proper tan my legs unless I am going away so I use this. It is a nice colour and you can sit anywhere without transfer. I already have another so you know the answer to this one.

Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Miracle Moisturiser in Golden Sandalwood

I love this. This is the Ultra Rich one. You moisturise in the shower and you are done. It’s great. I already repurchased this

Medik8 Cream Cleanse

I picked up one of these for my sister as she uses this cleanser so of course I copied her and had to pick up one for me. This is a lovely cream cleanser. I always used this as my morning cleanse and I alternated between 1st and 2nd cleanse in the evening and it worked a dream. Removed all makeup without drying the skin. I would definitely repurchase this.

I had originally bought this for my sister but she didn’t use it so I got it back to try and I liked it. I found that my skin didn’t look as dull whilst using this so I would purchase this again.

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream

I got this in my Advent Calendar last year. I liked this. I found it was very lightweight on the face but provided good hydration. I used this before applying my makeup. I love Oskia products so I would get this again.

17 Lip Define Pencil in Dusty Rose

How many times have I spoken about this lipliner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day.. Definite repurchase. Only €3.50 in Boots.

Sanex Hypoallergenic Shower Gel

I use this all the time and have done since I had adult acne but I always bin (put into the recycling bin) these and forget to show you guys. I normally pick this up in one of the multiples (Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Tesco) when they are running an offer on it.

Sol Janeiro Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel

I got this from my friend for my birthday. I liked this, thought it was moisturising on the skin but you did need a lil bit more to get a lather on your body but smells amazing so probably wouldn’t stop me from purchasing again.

Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Body Scrub

My friend bought this for me as a present. I really liked this. It was great for that extra scrub but without leaving the body feeling dry or irritated. 

BPerfect 10 Second Tan in Dark +

Another quick one. Love this tan. It is a beautiful golden shade. It generally lasts for up to about 5 days and still looks great until I scrub it off. I switch between this and the Mrs Glam 10 Second Tan.

Color Wow Dream Filter

This was a big recommendation from Rosie Connolly especially in lockdown. I have used many of these bottles. I found that I used this more in lockdown but it really helped clean the blonde. You spray it on and leave it for 3 minutes and then wash hair as normal. I have another one already so safe to say I would repurchase.

Larry King City of Life Shampoo

I got this in one of my Cohorted boxes and I have to say I loved this as a cleansing and detox shampoo. I used this as my first shampoo and sometimes my second also. I would buy this again. Only thing I didn’t like was the tube as I couldn’t get the end the shampoo out.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Moisture Essence

I got this in an Advent Calendar, I hope that I used this correctly as I used this as a serum on my face and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found that it was super hydrating on my face. I think Elemis manufactures beautiful products and I always feel like I have been to a spa for a facial. I would buy this again

Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Repair Cream

I got this in my Advent Calendar last year and I did enjoy using this but for my and my skintype, I think this would be better to use in the winter months when it is colder so I would purchase again but not until the winter time.

Ren Skincare Global Protection Cream

I got this mini in my Advent Calendar last year. This was a lovely day-time moisturiser. I found my skin was hydrated when using. This also protects your face from pollution which is a bonus. This is one I would purchase. 

Omorovicza Rejuvinating Night Cream

I also got this in my Advent Calendar last year. I loved this night cream. I used this every night and again, another moisturiser that made my skin feel so soft and hydrated. Another one I would purchase.

CeraVe Blemish Control Cream

I got this mini/sample with a delivery of makeup but I can’t remember where I got it but anyways, I love this. I use this for 2 nights in a row and boom, my spot is gone. If it is a bad spot, you might need to do 3 nights but I think this is great. I got another one so yes I will buy again.

Drunk Elephant O-Bloos Rosi Drops

I love this Blush, this is my second or third one of these. It is a pinkly/peach colour which gives your cheeks a nice flush of colour or you can also build this to give a more pigmented look. I use this over my powder blush and it just gives yhe most beautiful finish to my blush without being too strong. I have the full size so safe to say I would definitely purchase again.

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder

I love this powder. This was my holy grail for such a long time. I used the shade translucent and it doesn’t add colour to your makeup or make it cakey. I still love this and I will purchase again but for now, we know my favourite powder for now.

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

This is my go to blush. My sister brought this blush for me back in 2014 along with a couple of other colours as they were listed as dupes for Nars blushes. This was a dupe for Nars Orgasm and this was my OG. I instantly fell in love with this and have used it ever since and repurchased so many times. I already opened my new one so I think you know the answer to it.

Kevin Murphy Maxi.Wash

I got this from my fabulous friend for Christmas and used this once every 2 weeks as a detox shampoo to remove product build up as I use dry shampoo. I found this fantastic for my hair. It did remove all build up without drying out my hair. Definitely one I will purchase.
