Neutrogena Clear & Radiant Face Wash

I’ll keep this short since this is almost always in my monthly empties! I’ve been using it for over 10 years now, and it’s pretty much always my first cleanse. If I’m dealing with a breakout, I’ll even use it for both my first and second cleanse. It’s a permanent staple in my skincare stash.

Medik8 Cream Cleanse

This is my second tube of this. This is a lovely cream cleanser. I always used this as my morning cleanse and I alternated between 1st and 2nd cleanse in the evening and it worked a dream. Removed all makeup without drying the skin. I would definitely repurchase this.

Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream

I have tried this before and loved it so I asked for it for my birthday. You get instant gratification with this as the slightly yellow colour helps brighten the under eyes straight away. It also leaves the under eye area feeling hydrated and soft. I did feel my dark circles were less noticeable when using it, so I would definitely repurchase.

Disciple Shadow Work (AHA/BHA Face Serum)

I used this twice a week to exfoliate my skin, helping to resurface it and remove any dead skin cells. It was a lovely serum that left my skin feeling good without drying it out. Definitely a glycolic acid I would repurchase.

Ella & Jo Plump & Protect 

I was so late to the game with all things Ella & Jo, but last Christmas I asked my sister to pick me up the Skincare Starter Set, and I’ve slowly been working my way through the products. This is a beautiful face cream. My skin was so smooth after use for the day and an added bonus is that was had spf 30 in it. Definitely one I will repurchase.

Ella & Jo Relax & Renew Night Cream

Ah and the night cream to match the day cream. I absolutely loved this. My face felt so hydrated and soft after using this. Definite repurchase.

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Vanilla

I have repurchased this many times as I use this on any breakouts or rosacea areas and it works a treat. It is creamy and full coverage and covers any spots so definitely a repurchase for me.

Illamasqua Beyond Foundation in Light 1

I used this as a mixer foundation and got on well with it most of the time. However, I did find that it didn’t mix well with some foundations, and the coverage was more medium than full. For that reason, I probably wouldn’t repurchase it. 

Catrice Gel Glide Long-Lasting Lip Liner in Line Me Softly

Catrice brought out these new lip liners and I just had to try one. I absolutely love it. It is so soft, the colour payoff is unreal and it lasts all day. The shade is also the perfect nude for me, so I will definitely be buying more, especially for just €2.99.

17 Lip Liner in Dusty Pink

Again, how many times have I spoken about this lipliner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day (I have applied only the liner at times). Definite repurchase. Also only €3.50 in Boots.

Essence 8hr Matte Comfort Lipliner in Cushion Talk

How many times have I spoken about this lipliner. Costs about €2.80 and is super pigmented, lasts all day and always a repurchase.

Soap & Glory Let’s Get Tropical

I picked this a while ago to try as I had heard great things about it. It is lovely and very light on the skin but skin still felt lovely and hydrated after use.

L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream

My friend bought this for me for my birthday last year, and as soon as I tried it, I loved it! It’s so hydrating and leaves my hands feeling really soft without any sticky or greasy feeling. I actually have six of these now, they were gifts, but I’d happily add a few more to my collection.

Larry King Spoilt for Choice Hair Oil

I alternated this hair oil with my Olaplex hair oil and really enjoyed using it. It wasn’t too oily and didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy, which is always a bonus! It’s definitely one I would repurchase and recommend.

CeraVe Micellar Cleansing Water

I picked this as I think it was coming up advertised on my Insta. I use a micellar water as my 3rd and final cleanse to ensure every drop of makeup is off my face. This did the trick without drying out my face or breaking me out so I purchased another one as it was on offer in Boots when I was in shopping recently. Plus it is 295ml which lasts a couple of months.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum

I will keep this short as this is a repeat purchase. From the minute I tried this I loved it. This sets the face but doesn’t leave it looking dry, dehydrated or cakey looking. It actually gives an airbrush effect to the skin. Always a repurchase.

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder in 05 Fair / Clair

I asked one of my best friends to pick this up for me when she was in the States last year. Of course, I managed to pick the wrong colour again lol. But honestly, I really enjoyed using it. I find it very similar to the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, which was a staple for me for years. My friend picked up three boxes for me. It’s such a shame you can’t buy this in Ireland.

Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Cameo

My second blog post was all about one of the Ben Nye powders, and I have to say I still absolutely love it! This time I chose a tinted shade for a change, and I knew exactly which one to go for because I’d used it before. These powders can be a little tricky to get hold of, but they’re definitely worth it. They make a fantastic setting powder, keep my makeup looking fresh, and help keep oils under control throughout the day.

Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Miracle Moisturiser in Golden Sandalwood

I love this. This is the Ultra Rich one. You moisturise in the shower and you are done. It’s great. I already repurchased this.

Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion

I have mentioned this in so many empties. I use this for cleansing my eyes as it is gentle. I leave it on my eye for a couple seconds and then I cleanse. I normally pick this up in one of the multiples (Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Tesco) when they are running an offer on it.

Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid 100 Moisturizing Cream

My sister bought this but unfortunately it did not agree with her skin, so she gave it to me to try. And oh my god, I loved this. A little goes a very long way and it left my skin feeling hydrated, moisturised, smooth and just fabulous. I have a few moisturisers to get through first, but once I run out I will definitely be buying a new one of this. Such a lovely moisturiser and one I would happily repurchase.

Garnier Amber Solaire Super UV Vitamin C

I really liked this. This is a glowy formula but not too glowy. It gave me a glow but not too glowy and didn’t show through my makeup. This was great for during the week as I used this instead of a glowy or dewy primer. This also have vitamin C in it which is another bonus.

Catrice Soft Blur in 002 Absolute Translucent

I use this on my forehead to help keep any excess moisture away and keep it looking mattified throughout the day. I find it does exactly that and I also love that it helps with my frown line. As the day goes on and my oils start to come through, the line is much less noticeable. I would not use this to set my whole face, but I absolutely love it for my forehead. I have already bought another one, so this is definitely a repurchase for me.

Morphe Mini Bake & Set

I picked up a mini to try of this as I thought it was a new powder but I had already bought this before but I thoroughly enjoyed this. This has a silky finish which helps minimise your pores and leave a soft finish to the skin. I need to pick up the large one asap.

Catrice Plumping Lip Liner in I Like To Mauve It

Another one I will keep should as this one will always appear in my empties as it is one that I always have on the go. It is super pigmented and lasts all day and for the bargain price of €4.00. I love this colour aswell.

Collection Lip Definer in Nude Pink 1

Now I really like this but it wasn’t the nude pink I thought that it would be. It was more of a brown nude than pink. Easy to apply with good lasting power. Also very cheap.

17 Lip Define Pencil in Dusty Rose

I love this lip liner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day (I have applied only the liner at times). Definite repurchase. Also only €3.50 in Boots.

Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I have very watery eyes and I used to love MAC (@maccosmeticsuk) Matte Créme Matifiante, thanks to @plouise1 and @plouisemakeupacademy for introducing me to it. Sadly, MAC discontinued it, so I tried other silicone primers. Then my sister sent me an Instagram video recommending this for watery eyes, so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. It really helps with my watery eyes, and after trying everything from different brushes, foundations, concealers and liners, this actually works. I’ve been using it for a few months and will definitely repurchase it. This one is now out of date, so I’ll be popping to Boots for another.

Evelom Foaming Cream Cleanser

Ok so I liked this but I did not love it. I sometimes found it a little drying on my face. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and slightly drier cheeks, so I think that probably played a part. I would not repurchase it for that reason, but if you have an oily skin type then I would definitely say give it a go. It also smells really good, which is always a nice bonus.

This is my second tube of this, and I absolutely loved it. It also worked like a primer on my face, so it was like killing two birds with one stone. I would definitely buy this again.

Catrice Under Eye Brightener

I bought this on @jennybeattie recommendation a while ago saying that this was a dupe for #nars Light Reflecting Eye Brightener. I did find that this was very similar to the eye brightener. I found it gave my dark circles the brightness needed. I will definitely try this again. I am currently testing the liquid version of this. 

BPerfect Complete Coverage Concealer in M5

I honestly do not think I have found a BPerfect product that I do not like. I picked this up a while ago and I have really enjoyed using it. It gives lovely coverage and has a soft matte finish, which is exactly what I like. It also did not settle into my lines or look cakey on the skin, which is always a bonus. Another BPerfect product that I would happily use again.

Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel Glimpse

I picked this up a couple of years ago but when I opened it I thought the colour looked far too light so I put it to the side and forgot about it. More recently I decided to give it a go and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually worked really well for my brows. My brows are normally darker than my hair but I really loved this colour and was surprised by how much I liked it. Can you still get this anymore No sadly you cannot.

Mrs Glam 10 Second Tan in Dark +

Another quick one, this is my go‑to tan! It gives such a beautiful golden colour, lasts around five days, and the best part… it doesn’t stain the bed sheets. That’s a total win in my book.

Lancome Genifique Serum

I’m so late to the game with this one. I got it in my Advent Calendar, and I have to say I absolutely loved it. It lasted me almost a month, and I enjoyed it so much that I asked for another one for my birthday. Thankfully, I already have a fresh one ready to start soon.

 

Origins Ginzing (SPF 30)

I got this from my friend for Christmas, and I absolutely love it! It’s a lovely moisturiser that leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated. It smells amazing too, which is an added bonus. I’m definitely on the hunt for another one because I enjoyed using it so much! 

Laneige Water Bank

I loved this. I’ve only tried this brand’s lip products before, but I got this moisturizer in my advent calendar and really enjoyed it. It left my skin feeling hydrated and soft. I’ll 100% repurchase. 

Catrice Under Eye Brightener Setting Powder

Another product I absolutely loved. I use this under my eyes and it leaves them looking bright and fresh. I also find that it doesn’t settle into fine lines, which is a huge plus. It actually reminds me of the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and could be a great dupe, but I’d want to compare them side by side again before saying that for sure. 

Rare Beauty Highlighter in Exilarate
I absolutely loved this, it quickly earned a permanent spot on my grid after I first used it. It’s such a stunning highlighter! I originally saw Sinead (@thebeautifultruth) use it and was completely influenced. It’s 100% a repurchase for me, I even asked for it for my birthday!

Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara

I got this in my advent calendar. While it was great for adding length to my lashes, I didn’t find it gave much volume. Because of that, it’s probably not one I would repurchase.

Ovelle Silcock’s Base

This is such an old-school favourite for me! I always use it when I’m tanning, especially on my elbows and hands, to stop the tan from going patchy or looking too heavy. It’s also amazing when my skin is feeling really dry. You can pick it up in most pharmacies for around €6, which is great value. I already have a new one ready to go, so I think that says it all.

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Hand Cream

This hand cream is one I always have within reach, I keep one on my desk at work and another on the couch at home. I use it every time I wash my hands, especially on days when I have tan on as my skin can feel a bit drier, and also just whenever I feel like my hands need a boost. I absolutely love it because it’s so moisturising and really helps when my hands are feeling dry.

I got this in my advent calendar and loved it. It made my skin look healthier and plumper, with a lovely hydrated glow. Definitely one I’ll be repurchasing.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair

Another one from the advent calendar.  I really enjoyed using this and loved how hydrating it was. I’m definitely interested in trying the larger bottle, so I’ll be picking up a full-size version to give it a proper test.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream

I got this in my advent calendar again and, as always, Drunk Elephant doesn’t disappoint. I think this is my third or fourth time using it now, and I still love it. Definitely a repurchase.

Bare Minerals Skinlongevity

I really enjoyed this serum. It felt so lightweight on my skin, and my face always felt hydrated and soft after using it. It didn’t break me out either, so it’s definitely one I’d buy again.

Mural Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream

Oh my god, I absolutely adored this! It felt so lovely on my skin, and I always noticed my skin looked brighter by morning after using it at night. I’m generally a big fan of Murad products, and I’d definitely buy this again.

Eucerin Dry Touch Sun Gel-Cream

This is a repeat purchase for me, which says a lot. I really love how it keeps my skin nicely mattified without showing through my makeup. Plus, the SPF 50 gives great protection, which is always a big win.

NYX Wonder Snatch in Apricot Attitude

I absolutely loved this! It reminds me so much of the Huda Beauty loose powder, I’d even say it’s a great dupe. My face looked airbrushed and flawless, without ever looking flat or getting shiny throughout the day.

Catrice Lip Balm in Charming Rose

I absolutely love this lip balm. It’s super hydrating but also gives your lips a gorgeous hint of pink, which makes it feel extra special. Sadly, this shade seems to be discontinued so I can’t repurchase it, but I still have one left in my collection, so I’m set for now.

Palmers Coconut Hydrate Hand Cream

I unfortunately suffer with very dry hands, especially in cold weather. They can split and become quite sore. Sometime last year I had a bad flare‑up and realised I had no hand cream with me while visiting my boyfriend’s parents. He handed me this one, and it’s now a permanent fixture on my sofa at home. It’s a lovely hand cream, not greasy at all and it smells really nice. I’ve already bought another one, so it’s safe to say this is definitely a repurchase for me.

Clarins Total Eye Lift

I got this mini in my latest Advent Calendar and started using it the same day. It lasted me almost two months, which was great! I really loved how it felt on my skin. It goes on so smoothly under the eyes and feels really nice and gentle. I’ll definitely be purchasing the full size.

La Roche Posay Pure Vitamin C12 Serum

This is my second bottle of this. Such a gorgeous serum, it has that lovely oil texture but somehow never feels greasy on the skin. It always felt super fresh, and I genuinely enjoyed massaging it into my face each time I used it.

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright

I used this about 2 or 3 years ago and I remember thinking it was such a fabulous moisturiser! It feels so lovely and hydrating on the skin. I also love that it contains vitamin C, such a great ingredient for helping to brighten your complexion. I’d definitely buy this again.

Charlotte Tilbury Invisible Flawless Poreless Primer

My friend bought this for my birthday last year, and I’ve loved it ever since. It works as both a primer and an SPF, which is amazing, you get protection and a gorgeous, glowy base for your makeup. I’d absolutely buy it again. It’s a fantastic product.

Care-Nel Berry Lip Night Mask

My friend bought this for me a couple of years ago,maybe even three! I take ages to get through products because I like to finish them before sharing my thoughts. I really enjoyed this one. It’s definitely a dupe for the Laneige Lip Mask, and I’m using the Laneige one now that this is finished. They perform almost exactly the same. I’d happily buy it again. I think my friend got it on Amazon, but I’m not totally sure.

Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Full Coverage Liquid Foundation in 220N Custard

When I first tried this, I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with it. I really wanted to love it, but I just didn’t at the start. I put it aside for a while, came back to it later, and for some reason I ended up loving it. It gives the skin a gorgeous finish,not flat matte, but a lovely satin look. I’m not sure if it’s being discontinued, so I can’t say for sure if I’d repurchase, just in case.

Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer Satin Finish in Medium Peach

I picked this up after hearing great reviews. I’d already tried the other Camo concealer and loved it, so I wanted to give this one a go. I ended up really liking it! I found myself reaching for it most weekends, even over some of my high‑end products. I’ve actually already bought another one in a different shade

Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream

I originally bought this after I had shingles last year. Yes, shingles… and no, I’m not 100 lol. My skin felt really tight and sore, and my local pharmacy recommended this to help. I used it for about 2-3 months while my skin was recovering, and I also reached for it during winter when my skin got extra dry. It’s such a lovely moisturiser for those really dry days or nights, super comforting and soothing. I’ll 100% be buying this again!

Mario Badescu Caffeine Eye Cream

I got this in a Cohorted box. I found this was nice but I personally didn’t find this overly hydrating. I probably won’t repurchase for that reason but I did find it helped with any darkness.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

I got this in my advent calendar and it is a lovely moisturiser. This has squalane in it which I am a big fan of as it is great for keeping the face hydrated, soft and smooth at the same time. I would 100% buy this again

Nars Soft Matte foundation in Stromboli and Deuville

I have spoken about this so many times. The coverage is unreal. It is a matte foundation but it doesn’t dry matte or go cakey. It is all the things I look for it in a foundation. It is definitely my favourite foundation and my go to especially for an occasion or night out.

Dolce & Gabbana Concealer Longwear Millennialskin in Neutral 3

I really liked this concealer. I bought this a really long time ago on sale on Feelunique but never got around to trying it until 6 months ago as I had so many to try. I found this had really good coverage and didn’t crease. It wore well under all of my powders. I would have bought this again but I think it was reduced as it was discontinued.   

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder in Pound Cake

I will keep this short as this is a repeat purchase. From the minute I tried this I loved it. This sets the face but doesn’t leave it looking dry, dehydrated or cakey looking. It actually gives an airbrush effect to the skin. Always a repurchase.

Fenty Beauty Hella Thic Mascara 

I think this is my third tube of this.  This gives you length but also so much volume to your lashes. One application will actually do both eyes and give the length and volume needed. Two for major volume and length. I love this mascara and it is a major recommendation from me. Run and buy it…

Collection Fast Stroke Crystals Eyeliner in Funk

So this is the glitter that I used when creating a fast eye look with a lil sparkle. It is actually all I seem to do these days, lol. It is a lovely gold colour, it lasts all day and night and gives you a beautiful sparkle. I took myself over to Liffey Valley recently and picked up another one. I had been looking for a while as they didn’t have it in other Boots so it was a panic moment.

Essence 8hr Matte Comfort Lipliner in Cushion Talk x 2

How many times have I spoken about this lipliner. Costs about €2.80 and is super pigmented, lasts all day and always a repurchase.

This is a continuation of the new section I introduced a while ago. So this should be an empty product but it’s a #notsoemptyempties as it is something I have tried, tried again and re-tried and maybe not like so much or it doesn’t work for me.

Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-Eyes

Oh I am so sad to say this but this mascara just didn’t work for me. If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I love big thick fluttery lashes but this didn’t give that to me. This was super natural looking and even after 4 layers, I just didn’t get the volume so this is a no for me. But if you like natural lash, go for it.
