Welcome to this month’s instalment of my empties. I have 13 empties for this month, so have a read and enjoy. For any repeats, I will keep it short.

La Roche Posay Effaclar AI Breakout Corrector

So this appeared as one of my 2022 favourite products of the year. I had discovered this in 2021 as I had a massive spot and needed it to be gone before a night out. But I used this constantly in 2022 as after getting Covid in the house, my skin was breaking out all of the time. This is a great spot cream but I have one downfall now that I am not getting many spots, the tube is too big so it runs out of life before you finish the tube but if you suffer from spots, this is a good friend.

Avant Protein-Complex Restructuring Niacinamide Defence Serum

I got this in one of Cohorted’s monthly boxes. I really enjoyed this serum. I felt that my skin looked brighter while using this and I feel it also helped my pores around my nose. I would repurchase this for sure.

Flanerie Lil Bloom Hyaluronic Vivifying Serum

This is another find from one of Cohorted’s monthly boxes. This was a lovely Hyaluronic serum. It dried in quickly but your still still felt hydrated. I would repurchase this. Just have to check where sells this.

BPerfect Chroma Cover Matte Foundation in W5

I picked this up previously in the wrong colour. I am not sure how I did that. But long story short, it fell behind the press never to be seen again but I purchased it W5 and I have to say I love it. It is full coverage but not matte matte as it is a soft matte. I have finished this and I repurchased it in W4 (as I think that I thought I looked a lil more tanned than I did)

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage in Sand Beige

The coverage was amazing, it is full coverage and it gave a flawless finish to the skin. I would definitely repurchase. This is also cheap as chips at roughly €8.00.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard

This is a lovely concealer. I normally would keep this for a night out.  I really like using it but I always feel that it runs out quite quickly. I just checked and it is only 6ml. Maybe that is standard. I need to look into these things

17 Lip Define Pencil in Dusty Pink

Agai, how many times have I spoken about this lipliner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day (I have applied only the liner at times). Definite repurchase. Also only €3.50 in Boots.

Benefit Powmade in 3 Warm Brown

This is my only brow product. It is the perfect colour for my brows (matching my natural hair colour). It will be the only brow pomade that I will use so please Benefit do not discontinue this product.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lip in Pure Hollywood

This is the OG liquid lip for me (now this is not the original one I purchased). I absolutely loved and still love this. I have purchased this so many times. It has been reformulated and I have purchased it so I just need to try it and report back on the reformulated liquid lip.

Green Angel Seaweed Bath & Shower Gel

Lovely shower gel with a nice smell. My friend picked this up for my big birthday last year from my team in work. I also now have the moisturiser to try but this was lovely. My bathroom always smelt like a spa after use.

BPerfect Tan Eraser

I absolutely love this stuff. Leave this on for about 7 minutes and it removes all tan. I am already on a new bottle.

Living Proof Perfecting Spray

I got this in a Cohorted box a few months ago or maybe last year. I really liked this spray. It is a detangling spray and literally the brush runs through your hair like a knife through butter.

This is a continuation of the new section I introduced a while ago. So this  is an empty product but it’s a #notsoemptyempties as it is something I have tried, tried again and re-tried and maybe not like so much or it doesn’t work for me.

Primark PS Sun SPF50 Sun Gel

Unfortunately I have to say that this was a no for me. No matter what moisturiser or primer I used this with, it pilled really badly so unfortunately I won’t be finishing or repurchasing.

Neutrogena Refreshingly Clear Facial Wash

I will keep this short as I have mentioned this in a good few empties. Have been using this now for at least 8 or 9 years. I use this as my first cleanse and if I am going through a breakout I will use this as first and second cleanse. I always have one of multiple of these in my skincare press.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye

I got this as a present from a friend. I liked the hydration from this but I didn’t really like the gel texture. It kind of reminded me of Vaseline but did give good hydration but I wouldn’t buy again because of the texture.

Morphe Filter Effect Soft-Focus Foundation 28ml (Various Shades) – Filter Light 1

As you know, I have dark foundations and light, none really in between as I normally use a light foundation in the same finish to lighten my darker foundations. This was a great mixing foundation and it was cheap enough as I got a deal on this. I would repurchase.

Rare Beauty Highlighter in Exilarate

I loved this so much, this was upgraded to a place on my grid. It is a stunning highlighter. I originally saw Sinead (thebeautifultruth) use this and I couldn’t wait to try it so my sister got it for me for Easter last year. It is 100% definitely one I will repurchase, I just need to get my bum over to Space n K. 

Hourglass Lightening Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light

I love this bronzer. I know it is expensive but it lasts for such a long time. I think I got over 2 years out of this. I have purchased again but I bought the travel size as I thought I would use it up quicker. This gives a beautiful bronzed look to the skin and it lasts all day long. 

Chanel Le Volume in 10 Noir

This was a mini that I got when I purchased my perfume back in June. I spoke to my sister on this and she didn’t like this mascara so I didn’t have high hopes but it turns out that I loved this. It gave dark black lashes with volume and length. What else does a girl want. Definitely one I will purchase.

Collection Lip Definer in Nude Pink 1

Now I really like this but it wasn’t the nude pink I thought that it would be. It was more of a brown nude than pink but in saying that I still repurchased cause I liked so much. Easy to apply with good lasting power. Also very cheap.

Essence 8hr Matte Lipliner in Silky Hazelnut

How many times have I spoke about this lipliner just a different shade. Costs about €2.80 and is super pigmented, lasts all day and definite repurchase.

NYX Loud Lip Liner in Fierce Flirt

I was always a fan of NYX lip liners, they are super soft so very easy to apply. This was a fabulous mauve nude colour, I will repuchase but I really need to stop buying lip liners. I have over 50 of them. Yes 50.

BPerfect / Mrs Glam 10 Second Tan in Dark +

Another quick one. Love, beautiful golden shade.It generally lasts for up to about 5 days and doesn’t stain bed sheets.

Olaplex No.3

I love this hair mask. I use it everytime my hair is feeling a lil dry and this works a treat. I had to use this as a treatment previously as my hair was damaged due to all the years of dying my hair.

AlphaH Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum

I loved the Lquid Rose Gold when I used it before. I think I had it twice and it was a strong favourite but unfortunately I broke out with this one so I had to bin this. I tried it for a number of weeks but I broke out every single time.

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Ultimate Cleanser

I used this a long time ago and I forgot how much I actually loved this. This is a gel cleanser that I used as my second cleanse and morning cleanse. I always felt like all of my makeup was fully removed but felt soft and hydrated after use. This is expensive but a little goes a long way so I would repurchase again.

Primark PS Micellar Cleansing Water

When I purchased this, my micellar water had run out and I was strolling around Penney’s and found this so picked it up. As you can see it was only €1.80. Well I was very impressed, I found that this performed the same as high end micellar water. Definite repurchase, you couldn’t not.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C Frambos Glycolic Night Serum

I have used a couple of travel size versions of this serum as it lasts ages. I used this twice a week as it is an exfoliating treatment but it is so light weight and your skin feels super soft the next morning. I would definitely repurchase this. I would probably stick to a travel size just cause it last so long.

Charlotte Magic Water Cream

Ok so I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive about using this as I found the Magic Cream just too heavy but this…This wow. I loved this, it was fabulous. So moisturising and lightweight but when you apply, it feels like a burst of water as it is so hydrating. I will definitely buy again.

La Roche Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF

I will keep this short, a brilliant spf. It also helps give moisture to your skin but is mattifying and doesn’t appear through your makeup. Definite repurchase and recommendation.

La Mer The Hydrating Illuminator

I absolutely love this and the appearance that it gives the skin. It gives you an illuminated look but not a shiny or a greasy look. Expensive but lasts for ages and definitely worth the money.

Nars Soft Matte Foundation in Deuville

How many times have I spoken about this foundation. The coverage is unreal. It is a matte foundation but it doesn’t dry matte or go cakey. It is all the things I look for it in a foundation. It is definitely my favourite foundation and my go to especially for an occasion or night out.

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder in Pound Cake

I will keep this short as this is my third or fourth one of these. From the minute I tried this I loved it. This sets the face but doesn’t leave it looking dry, dehydrated or cakey looking. It actually gives an airbrush effect to the skin.

Flormar Loose Powder in 002 Light Sand

This was my second purchase of this powder. This is a great affordable powder that helps set your face and keeps your oils at bay for the day. I would use this daily when I am in the office or working from home. This is a repurchase for me. 

Hourglass Incandescent Strobe Light

Great product. I love adding a little bit to the face. I add this to my forehead and if my concealer is very matte, sometimes I also add it to my under eyes just to add some light back to the face. This is expensive but it lasts for such a long time.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist

My sister bought this for my birthday. I have to say and I am so sorry to say this but I didn’t really enjoy this spray. I found that this made my makeup look greasy and it broke down earlier than when I wouldn’t have used this to set my face. Now this could be my skin type but this is a no from me.

MAC Cosmetics MAC Stack

I was very late to the game on this. I think I saw this on Charlotte Holdcroft on YouTube. I really enjoyed this mascara. It gave me length, volume and lasted all day long. I would repurchase this again but my only feedback is that this dried up very quickly. I think I got just over 2 months usage out of this.

Delilah Lip Liner in Pout

This is a beautiful browny nude. This was my going out lip liner. It was a beautiful colour and it lasted all day and night as I would do my makeup first thing in the morning for the night out. 

Anastasia Beverly Hills Butter Gloss in Butter Scotch

This is an oldie but a goodie. And maybe slightly out of date. I would apply this early in the day and this would last into the evening and night if I am heading out. It also last ages so I would definitely repurchase as I love a lipgloss.

Sanctuary Spa Lily & Roe Body Butter

I was lucky enough to be sent this. I love a good body butter and this one never disappoints. So moisturising but doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the skin.

Bioderma Sensibio H20

I picked this up when my Filorga Micellar Water was finished. This was a lovely micellar water that didn’t break my skin out (which is very important to me). As I said I use a micellar water as my 3rd and final cleanse to ensure every drop of makeup is off my face. This did the trick and I would definitely purchase this again.

Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum

I got this in my Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2022. I finally got around to trying this in the last few months. I have to say I really enjoyed this serum, my skin felt plump and hydrated after use. It also dried down quickly on the skin so you could apply your moisturiser straight away and extra bonus, it didn’t break out my skin.

Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer Base

Loved this. This was a Tati Westbrook recommendation. It really does blur your pores and fine lines.I generally use this on my t-zone so forehead, nose and sometimes the chin. A definite repurchase for me.

Benefit Boi-ing Bright On Concealer in Cantaloupe

Hmmm I loved the original Boi-ing concealer, I thought it was amazing but I wasn’t as fond of this concealer. I didn’t find that this had enough coverage for me so this would be a no repurchase, sorry Benefit.

Bare Minerals Length & Strength Mascara

I got this mini in one of my Cohorted boxes so I tried it out for 2 months before it ran out. This was a nice mascara. I found that I had less lash fallout (noticed when taking off makeup). It was easy to take off but it didn’t give me the volume that I wanted. I love voluminous lashes.

Benefit Powmade in 3 Warm Brown

This is my only brow product. It is the perfect colour for my brows (matching my natural hair colour). It is creamy, easy to apply and create a brow quickly. It lasts all day long. It will be the only brow pomade that I will use so please Benefit do not discontinue this product.

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Pressed & Ready

You can’t beat MAC Lipsticks at all. My whole kit when I was doing makeup was make lipsticks. I have to say they last all day and generally I don’t need to touch up my lips. This colour was for the days when I super pale.

 

Rouge Bunny Rouge As If It Were Summer Still Bronzing Glow Liquid

I got this in one of my monthly Cohorted boxes and this was a lovely bronzing liquid. I used this on a Tuesday at work when I was a bit paler and needed a boost for my tan. It also dried nicely and wasn’t super sticky. /

Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse

I was a lil bit nervous to try this as it is AHA/BHAs in it especially for a daily cleanse but this was a fabulous gel cleanser for the face. Felt nice on the face and an enjoyable cleanse and it didn’t break me out which was also great.

Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion

I have mentioned this in so many empties. I use this for cleansing my eyes as it is gentle. I leave it on my eye for a couple seconds and then I cleanse. I normally pick this up in one of the multiples (Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Tesco) when they are running an offer on it.

Nars Creamy Concealer in Madeleine

I have repurchased this many times as I use this on any breakouts or rosacea areas and it works a treat. It is creamy and full coverage and covers any spots so definitely one I keep in my makeup press.

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

This is my go to blush. My sister brought this blush for me back in 2014 along with a couple of other colours as they were listed as dupes for Nars blushes. This was a dupe for Nars Orgasm and this was my OG. I instantly fell in love with this and have used it ever since and repurchased so many times. I already opened my new one so I think you know the answer to it,

17 Lip Define Pencil in Dusty Rose

I have never tried anything from the brand before even previously (as they were relaunched) But..I love this lip liner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day (I have applied only the liner at times). Definite repurchase. Also only €3.50 in Boots.

W7 Lip Twister in Pink

I loved this. It is a nice colour, you could wear with lipstick, gloss or on it’s own and it lasts all day. This was cheap aswell at €3.99, so happy I just stumbled across this a couple of months ago.

ESPA Positivity Bath & Shower Gel

I got this in a monthly Cohorted box and this was a lovely shower gel. It smelled like I was in a spa when showering with this.

Dealz / Makeup Gallery Pro Eye Liquid Liner

I had this previously in the gold glitter. It was a really nice glitter liner. I tried this in black as I picked it up recently in Dealz and have tried it a few times. Now there is nothing wrong with it but it just wasn’t as black as I like liner. I like it as a black as coal. If you like a lighter in colour black liner, this is a steal for €1.50.

Bioessence Squalane and Elderberry Jelly Cleanser

This was a Caroline Hirons recommendation so I picked up a mini to try. It was nice but I felt you needed a large amount to actually remove any excess makeup. It was a nice cleanser for the morning, smelt nice and didn’t dry out the skin. Would I repurchase? As a morning cleanse, yes. Evening or second cleanse, no. But I believe that this is now discontinued.

Zelens Power D Concentrate

Hmm, I can’t remember where I got this. It was definitely one of my advent calendars. I liked this but…I am not sure if this gave me a lil breakout as I wasn’t really using any other actives so I probably would say I wouldn’t repurchase but if this is one for you I would say go for it beause it is an oil but it dries in quickly.

Wishful Honey Whip

One of my beautiful friends gave this to me (it was part of the mini set) and I finally got around to try it and it was fab. My skin felt so subtle and plump after use. This is definitely one I would repurchase in the larger size.

Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask

I got this bad boy in one of my monthly Cohorted boxes and wow this was fab. It was one of those products that you love massaging into your face cause it is just so nice. I tried to use this at least once a week but mostly twice and my face always felt so nice after this. This was an overnight mask so no wash off after 10 minutes.

Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Illuminating Face Oil

I also got this in one of my monthly Cohorted boxes. I did like this, I used to use this in my daily makeup routine. It did give a nice glow to the skin without it being too glowy, also didn’t feel like an oil on my skin. I checked and this is no longer available so this can’t be repurchased.

Too Faced Primed Poreless

I got two minis of this in one of my monthly Cohorted boxes. I didn’t like this when I first tried this but after continued use, I made an informative decision of really liking it. I used this on my forehead and my nose for any fine lines and pores and it worked a treat. I would repurchase for sure when I finish the other pore primers I have. I actually got another mini of this in another Cohorted boxes so I have another to use before I repurchase.

RCMA No-Colour Powder

This was a Wayne Goss recommendation many years ago so my sister picked this up for me. I think it was probably a lil out of date so I had to finish it and get rid of it. I did feel that sometimes this made my face look a lil pale and white so I probably wouldn’t repurchase. I probably used too much on my oily skin so if you use a lil less, this is a good powder.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Loose Setting Powder in Translucent

This powder is a nice powder if you are a lil less oily than me, I found that this didn’t keep my oils at bay on my t-zone especially my nose so this is one I wouldn’t repurchase, sorry Anastasia/Norvina.

Sachajuan Scalp Shampoo

I really enjoyed this shampoo. I used this every time my scalp was a lil irritated and it cleansed the scalp without leaving my hair feeling dried out. Also you get a great lather out of the shampoo when using it which also appeals to me. I would repurchase this one.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush

What a dry shampoo. I have probably gone through about four or five of these since the last time I posted an empty of this. I always pick one up when I am in Penneys. It is as cheap as chips at €2.75 and does what it says on the tin. Definitely one I will always keep on the go.

Neutrogena Clear & Radiant Face Wash

I have been using this now for at least 8 years. I discovered this when I was in the height of adult acne. This was recommended by Sinead (@themakeupchair) on her YouTube channel. I still use this as my first cleanse and if I am going through a breakout I will use this as first and second cleans. I absolutely love this and this definitely helps when I am having a breakout. I buy these when they are on 3 for 2 in @boots. It is always a recommendation to anyone suffering from breakouts.

Elemis Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser

This was a nice face cleanser. It was geared towards dry or dehydrated skin so it was ok for me as my cheeks are on the dehydrated side. It worked nicely as a second cleanse / morning cleanse. I would repurchase this.

Farmacy Honey Halo

I got this in my @cultbeauty Advent Calendar in 2023 (sometimes it takes me a while to get through my skincare but I do get there). I really enjoyed this moisturiser. It felt really rich when applying to the face but dried in quickly but still leaving your face feeling hydrated. I would repurchase this again.

Note Skin Perfecting Primer (Shine Control)

This was originally a Gracey (@graceyoconnel Insta) recommendation. I have to say I absolutely love this product. It is mattifying but it is not drying on the skin and it doesn’t pill as some shine control primers do pill a lil or a lot. It is definitely one I would recommend to anyone and also one I would repurchase. It is a fabulous drugstore primer. PS I also love their illuminator.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Mini

I actually can’t remember where I saw this recommended. It was definitely someone I follow so because I couldn’t remember who recommended it, I picked up a mini to try. I did enjoy this as I felt that my face looked really fresh when wearing this I would buy this again.

Estee Lauder Double Wear in Rattan

And next up is my OG. This foundation will always hold a very special place in my heart. This was the first ever high-end foundation that I own. My sister bought it for me for Christmas one year many moons ago and it was always my go to. Nars Soft Matte Complete Foundation in Fiji

This is my product of the year in 2022 and still is. It was one I was excited to try as it had gotten great reviews from both Sinéad ( @thebeauttruth ) and Maria ( @_nospringchicken ). The coverage is unreal. It is a matte foundation but it doesn’t dry matte or go cakey. Iit also doesn’t separate on your face. It is all the things I look for it in a foundation. It is definitely my favourite foundation and it knocked my OG off it’s top spot.

Jouer High Coverage Liquid Concealer in 4 Créme Brulee

This is a more recent discovery that I forgot to put up a #firstimpressions of. As Homer Simpson would say ‘doh’. This appeared as a favourite for 2023. I love this. It is a full coverage concealer that is easy and creamy to apply. It sets down well with powder and lasts all day long. It is definitely my concealer find of the year as I am reaching for it non stop since I got it. I purchased mine from @sephora (well the #feelunique site). I got it for a steal of €16.00 in a sale earlier in the year.

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder in Pound Cake

I will start off by saying I didn’t think another powder would know my #lauramercier powder off the number 1 spot especially for nights out but… this one has. From the minute I tried this I loved it. I picked a coloured powder when purchasing this as I had seen other bloggers use this powder. This sets the face but doesn’t leave it looking dry, dehydrated or cakey looking. It actually gives an airbrush effect to the skin. I don’t use this to bake but just to set the face. I always pick mine up in @boots.ireland Dundrum or Athlone and it is €40.00 but this also lasts for ages. This also appeared as a favourite for 2023.

W7 Lip Twister in Pink

I picked this up one day in @boots needing to get €10 after doing recycling to get my 500 points so I picked this up cause I liked the colour but I have to say I loved this. It was a nice colour, you could wear with lipstick, gloss or on it’s own and it lasts all day. This was cheap aswell at €3.99, so happy I just stumbled across this.

Fenty Beauty Hella Thic Mascara 

Mascara find of the year. My beautiful friend bought this for my birthday. This gives you length but also so much volume to your lashes. One application will actually do both eyes and give the length and volume needed. Two for major volume and length. I love this mascara and it is a major recommendation from me. Run and buy it…

Sanctuary Spa Lily & Rose Shower Burst

I was super lucky to be gifted this. This was so nice. You spray this on a sponge or whatever you use and then it foams. My skin felt so soft after showering. After showering, I used the Body Moisturiser that I was also lucky enough to be gifted and that will feature in this month’s empties. Definite repurchase for me.

Drunk Elephant Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser

I got this in my @cultbeuaty Advent Calendar 2022. I have used this previously and I loved it. It is a gorgeous cleanser that I use as second cleanse to cleanse the skin or morning cleanse. It is gentle on the skin. It leaves the skin hydrated after use and not dry or irritated. I would repurchase this again.

Nuxe Very Rose 3-in-1 Soothing Micellar Water

I got this in my monthly @cohorted Box so I gave it a go when my La Roche Posay was finished. I really liked this. So if you don’t know me or you are new here, I use a Micellar Water as my final (like a 3rd cleanse) and in my hairline to ensure all makeup is removed from my skin and hairline. This wasn’t drying on the face and was a pleasure to use so I would repurchase this again.

StriVectin Super-C Dark Circle Brightening Eye Serum

This was a @carolinehirons recommendation that I got in my @cultbeauty Advent Calendar 2022. This was nice under the eye so as it is a serum, it was kind of like a gel texture and was cooling under the eye

Medik8 C-Tetra

I am not sure if I have used this one or another one of their vitamin c serums but in any case, this is a fabulous serum. It is an oil texture but dries into your skin quickly and doesn’t leave your skin tacky. Definitely one I would repurchase.

La Roche Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF

Another product that I have used before. It is a brilliant spf. It also helps give moisture to your skin, it doesn’t come through your makeup which is something that I have been conscious of since @everythingjoloves spoke about a while ago and I thank her for this recommendation. Definitely one I will repurchase.

Dior Forever Skin Correct in 05.N

So my sister gave this to me as it was too drying for her under eyes. I tried it and it was too light for my undereyes so instead I used this to conceal breakouts when I had them, any of my rosacea areas when they are annoying me and I have to say it works a treat at concealing them. I would like to try this on my undereyes in the correct colour so watch this space (it will be a while as I have a few concealers to try still).

AYU Perfect Skin Foundation in Light/Medium 2

I originally purchased this foundation in my tan shade and loved it so much I purchased my paler / tan wearing off shade. This is a full coverage foundation that literally covers any imperfection on your skin. Like a blank canvas but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and lasts all day. Definite repurchase for me.

Catrice More Than Glow Highlighter in 010 Ultimate Platinum Glaze

I purchased this because I had another highlighter that I loved from Catrice and this did not disappoint. It was lovely on the skin, gave a beautiful soft glow that you could build up to a intense glow. Only feedback is that when you have hit pan and nearly finished the highlight, it kind of gets a bit shiny with no colour pay off.

17 Lip Define Pencil in Dusty Rose

Ok so as you may know, my beloved Essence lip liner in Unforgettable has been discontinued so I was on the hunt for a new lip liner and decided to try this. I have never tried anything from the brand before even previously (as they were relaunched) But..I love this lip liner. I love the colour, that it is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day (I have applied only the liner at times). Definite repurchase. Also only €3.50 in Boots.

Sanctuary Spa Lily & Rose Collection Body Wash

I was lucky enough to be gifted this. I love this brand. This went straight into the shower when I was gifted it. The smell is devine. This body wash also has jojoba beads which helps moisture the skin. I finish this off with the body lotion (soon to be featured in an empties) so I smell fabulous and my skin is hydrated. This is a definite repurchase for me.

Sol Janeiro Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel

I got this from my friend for my birthday. I liked this, thought it was moisturising on the skin but you didn’t a lil bit more to get a lather on your body but smells amazing so probably wouldn’t stop me from purchasing again.

Aldi Lacura Highlighter 

First up is this Aldi brand Lacura Highlighter and it was a recommendation but..I found that you only got pay off when you swatched it with your finger and no matter what brush I used, I didn’t get any colour pay off. I have no idea how much this was but it is one I won’t be repurchasing. Sorry Aldi.

Neutrogena Refreshingly Clear Facial Wash

I have been using this now for at least 8 years. I discovered this when I was in the height of adult acne. This was recommended by Sinead (@themakeupchair) on her YouTube channel. I still use this as my first cleanse and if I am going through a breakout I will use this as first and second cleans. I absolutely love this and this definitely helps when I am having a breakout. This is definite repurchase and a recommendation to anyone suffering from breakouts.

Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion

I featured this in my June empties and it is a must for me for removing eye makeup. As I said I know it’s not an eye makeup remover but it works for me. I leave it on my eye for about 30 seconds and then I cleanse. I normally pick this up in one of the multiples (Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Tesco) when they are running an offer on it. Definitely one I will continue to repurchase.

The Inkey List Polyglutmaic Acid

I loved this and I recently saw that Sinead @thebeauttruth loves this aswell. It is a serum that gives the skin major hydration and smooths the skin and leaves it so supple and it also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. I checked and this is available on @lookfantastic for €17.45 but if you use Sinead’s code, you will give it for €13.78. Pop over to Sinead’s page and use the AF link. This is a definite repurchase for me.

Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture

This was a @carolinehirons recommendation.I picked this up previously and loved it so much so as you can imagine I was delighted that I got this again in a recent @cohorted box and a full size. I used this morning and evening, my skin was so hydrated when using this. A definite repurchase.

W7 Prime Magic

If you have followed me for a while you will know I have watery eyes and I always used MAC (@maccosmeticsuk) Matte Créme Matifiante thanks to @plouise1 and @plouisemakeupacademy for this product. But MAC have discontinued the product so I was told that any silicone primer would work so I went on the hunt and bought a few different ones which didn’t work for me so I was wandering around Boots Bray (@boots) and I found this for €6.49 and decided to give this a try and I am so happy I did. This is great, really helps watery eyes like mine. I have previously tried everything from different brushes, foundations, concealers, liners but this works… I have been using it for 2 months and will continue to use. I actually use this every day. Best €6.49 I have ever spent.

Luna by Lisa Naturally Matte Foundation in Light Plus

This was an @everythingjoloves recommendation and I loved this. It is an oil free foundation that is medium to full coverage that is a matte foundation that doesn’t dry down matte, it dries down in a satin finish. This is a definite repurchase for me. If you like foundations like me, buy this. You will thank me.

Benefit Blush in Gold Rush

I liked this. It was a beautiful peach / gold colour. I actually used this as blush topper when I was going out and wanted that extra sheen. I did look this up and it is no longer available so I guess I won’t be repurchasing.

Benefit Powmade in 3 Warm Brown

This is my only brow product. It is the perfect colour for my brows (matching my natural hair colour). It is creamy, easy to use creating a brow quite quickly. It lasts all day long. It will be the only brow pomade that I will use so please Benefit do not discontinue this product.

Catrice Plumping Lip Liner in Understated Chic

As I said before, I think that this one will appear in my empties either monthly or bi-monthly as it is one that I always have on the go. It is super pigmented and lasts all day and for the bargain price of €4.00. You cannot go wrong.

Ovelle Silcock’s Base

Excuse the photo (that is tan). This is an old skool favourite. I use this when I am tanning, I use this on my elbows and hands to stop the tan from getting mucky looking and also if I am very dry. I had a lil spell of dry legs there last week, my legs look like they were sunburnt so I threw a bit of this on and within 2 days, the dryness had gone. This is available from most pharmacies and is around the €6.00 mark. I already have a new one so I think you know my answer.

Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Cream

My beautiful friend bought this for my birthday last year. I used this previously and loved it and still love it. When you apply, it dries quickly and leaves your skin so hydrated. Definitely a repurchase for me even though it is pricey but it is a lovely treat.
